If you want to be one of the first to hear about updates why not
Hi Everyone,
I hope this newsletter finds you well and ready to endure the cold weather ahead. It’s certainly chilly enough to be thinking about taking out craft indoors and spending time with family and friends around a table full of goodies to play with.
I know my own children loved it when we got the box of bits out of the cupboard and spent many days of the school holidays making cards and things for their friends. If you need some inspiration, don’t forget we have our children’s classes in the holidays.
It’s also probably a good time to remind you about our Christmas in July seminars, which effectively launches our new Christmas products and ideas for cards, decorations and gifts. This is a two-hour demonstration, which includes afternoon tea or supper, held on Sunday 25th July and repeated on Monday 26th July. At $5.00 per head it’s great value and due to its popularity, my advice is to get in early. Times: Sunday 1:00-3:30pm and Monday 7:00-9:30pm. Payment is necessary at the time of booking to secure your place.
Our stamp camp, which was held back in May was enormously successful and a great time was had by all. I have booked another camp for next year, so if you are interested, talk to me soon!
Classes
I think we have excelled ourselves with the variety of classes on offer over the next few months. Teresa’s Copic classes have already proven to be a huge hit and very popular, so look out for them and get in early.
Talking about early, please note the changes of start times for some Saturday classes. We have scheduled some afternoon classes so we will begin the morning classes at the earlier time of 9:30am. Afternoon classes begin at 11:45am. We will trial this to see how it goes but it certainly allows us to fit some extra classes in for you!
Kerry is still on sick leave from the shop but is happy to teach the odd class whilst she is recouperating. Have a look out for her tags and books in her own individual style, and book ahead because they fill quickly.
We also welcome back Joan and Kathie who will be teaching classes to help us out.
Teresa is working like a trojan to fit in classes around me and my treatments but at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel and by September hoepfully we will all be back to “normal”.
We have just received a massive amount of new products from Collections and to help you appreciate the versatility of this range, Teresa is teaching a group of cards, a 3D sewing shadow box and a regal crown treasure box. If you like the vintage look then this is for you.
We have included a few more construction type cards this time also. Don’t be put off, they generally are quite simple and yet the impact they give is enormous.
I know it’s only early yet but we do have to get our Christmas card started some time. Some classes have a Christmas theme as scheduled but don’t forget most techniques can be applied therefore, no excuses, start now.
I hope most class descriptions are self-explanatory but please, if you have any questions do not hesitate to give us a call.

There certainly has been a lot happening around the shop as we all try to keep things flowing. Thank you for your patience while we catch up with orders etc. since Kerry and I have both been out of action.
My heartfelt thanks goes out to all my girls who have stepped in and helped me enormously. We welcome Natalie to the team to give Rachel and Ashlee a hand until Kerry gets back.
