Craft News and Events in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all had an enjoyable festive season and a really good break. The beginning of 2020 has not been good for so many of us involved in fires & floods. We all hope that things get better quickly and you can set about getting your lives back together. A little further down the track when things settle down, we will organize a collection for all our crafting friends who have been affected. If you would like to contribute please stay in touch, look out for more information on our weekly bulletins and I will let you know who, what and where.

I have loads of ideas and activities in store for you this year. We have our first show in Bendigo over the weekend of the 14th &15th March. As usual we will be demonstrating on our stand all weekend as well as running a mini class. We always look forward to catching up with you all and sharing the crafters’ spirit.

Our fabulous tutors are all geared up to bring you the very latest in trends and products. We welcome Natalie on a more regular basis to share her “nifty” ideas, along with Teresa, Di and myself. Take a look at our comprehensive schedule, find something you want to do and call to book your place. Too easy!

We are also keen to form a new crafter’s social group called “Make and Cake”. The idea is to bring along your Knitting, Crochet, Drawing, Colouring, Scrapbooking or Card Making projects and enjoy the company of others over morning tea. My die cutting machines and Dies will be available for your use as well as guillotines and general tool kits. Cost will be $5 No need to book. Just come along and feel free to bring a friend. Some help will be available but this is largely a social group not a teaching workshop. Held on the last Thursday morning of the month from 10 am to 12.30 pm

As usual our free make and take continues on the last Saturday of the month. These sessions are absolutely free and enable you to sample some of the new products and ideas we have to share .Again no need to book, just come along 1st session 9.45 am – 10.30 am, 2nd session 10.45 am to 11.30 am

I will continue to send out our weekly bulletins via Facebook and now a Little Bits new email group. If you wish to be added to our email group send me an email or let me know at the shop. This is the easiest and most efficient way for me to communicate with you and keep you up to date with new stock arrivals, events, shows and specials, so please like us on Facebook or get those email addresses in.

We are continuing to enjoy the facilities at our new premises. Loads of parking for our customers is proving to be a huge bonus along with the full utilization of our classroom area. Do you know we have calligraphy classes here every Tuesday night? Something else to join in if you would like.
